The Royal Opera House in Muscat has opened the walkway linking the Opera Galleria with the House of Musical Arts.
The overpass, which runs across Kharijiyah Street, will be open every day to visitors between 6am and midnight. It comes after the House of Musical Arts, the city’s latest cultural centre, opened in January this year.
The building is home to a number of culture and arts exhibitions and plays host to talks and seminars on art across the ages.
The Royal Opera House tweeted about the announcement yesterday, saying: “We are delighted to open the doors to the iconic pedestrian bridge across Kharijiyah Street which connects the Opera Galleria with the House of Musical Arts. Visitors can now experience the bridge every day from 6am to midnight.”
